‘The Critic’ Wins in 2019 Method Fest

At an awards ceremony at the historic Ahrya Fine Arts Theater in Beverly Hills, ‘The Critic’ took home the Best Short Film award at the only major film festival in the U.S. celebrating outstanding performances in independent films. Other notable winners and nominees at the 2019 edition and the return of the legendary festival included Ethan Hawke who took home the Best Actor Award for ‘Stockholm’, Edward James Olmos awarded as Best Supporting Actor for ‘Windows on the World’ in addition to the Generations of Cinematic Excellence Award, and Martin Sheen, who was nominated for Best Supporting Actor in ‘Princess of the Row’, as well as Kerry Barden receiving the Casting Director Beyond the Screen Visionary Award, among others.
